Pull Focus

About

Simply put: this project was created to feature an interesting photo for an interesting theme, one week/person at a time. The schedule gives participants enough time to take photos for a theme (though that isn’t required). As photographers it is inspiring to see other photographers interpret the same theme in unique ways. As humans it is challenging to only select one photo. At the end of the year we’ll proudly display 52 featured photos and dozens of other submissions in print. So don’t despair if you don’t hit the home page.

Photographer Adam BakerGrowing up in Jackson, WY Adam had Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park in his backyard. This instilled a respect and sense of wonder for the outdoors at an early age. His photography has been seen in various print publications, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and local outlets including The State of the Art Gallery in Ithaca and WSKG Public Broadcasting’s 2010 Art in Motion tour. Photographer Tyler FinckLong before Tyler became a visual designer he took photos.  Before that he drew pictures. Before that he made music. And before that didn’t know how to do anything so just he played video games. As a lanky kid from Maine, that was okay, and probably explains why his lens is fixed on people rather than things. Follow @sursly on Twitter.
